Welcome to ASSICON 2014

With great pleasure and pride, we inform that the 27^th ASSICON 2014 was held at Kolkata, the City of Joy. Association of Spine Surgeons of India (ASSI) is one of the largest professional organization of Spine Surgeons across the globe. This was the 1st ASSICON in eastern India in Last 12 years. It was a memorable event as we organized the SRS (Scoliosis Research Society) World Wide Conference (WWC) along with this conference. Kolkata is said to be the cultural capital of India. It has numerous tourist spots -- Great Himalayan Mountains (Darjeeling & Dooars) on one side and exotic sea beaches on the other. We hope, this was an extensive scientific feast and an exciting retreat for those who attended.

SRS WWC was held on 23^rd January 2014 (Thursday) afternoon and 24^th January, 2014 (Friday) morning at the same venue. Eminent International faculty of SRS from all over the world were present. Themes : Early Onset Scoliosis (EOS) and Adult Degenerative Scoliosis.
