General Guidelines for E-poster Presentations
Confirmation & Registration : In order for a poster to be displayed at ASSICON 2014, the presenting author or one co-author must be registered to attend. Note that if you or your co-author do not register for the meeting by 15th January 2014, your poster will be removed from the program and not displayed at the conference. Please visit the Registration tab of this website to register online.
Housing & Travel : Presenters are expected to register, pay required registration fees and incur all costs for housing and travel. Please visit the website for details on arranging housing and travel to ASSICON 2014.
E-Poster Guidelines & Submission : E-poster presentations are available for viewing during ASSICON 2014 on computer kiosks and the abstracts are published in the conference book. Any corrections that need to be made to the title or author listing should be sent to Dipanwita at info@assicon2014.com before 10th January 2014. The organizing committee of ASSICON 2014 cannot make edits or additions to the abstract text.
E-posters are to be submitted by by 12.00 (midnight) IST (+5.30 GMT) on 20th January 2014 and maximum file size for upload is 15mb. Sorry, no exceptions.
AV Guidelines for E-Posters - Please review carefully !
Number of Slides :
E-Poster presentations are limited to 15 slides.
1st Slide – Must include title and authors of the abstract.
2nd Slide – Should include all authors’ financial disclosures.
Last Slide – May include references.
Submission :
-- No video, embedded video, sound, or transition animations may be included in your E-Poster.
-- E-Posters must be uploaded by 12 am (midnight) IST (+5.30 GMT) on 19th January 2014 to be displayed onsite.
-- Presentations should be created using only Western English alpha-numeric characters.
Display :
E-Poster kiosks, which consist of a computer and monitor, will be placed throughout the meeting area. The E-Posters will be loaded into each computer with a directory/menu of all posters available. E-Poster abstracts will be printed in the conference book.
